_Nada
---------------------------------------------------------------- RMA number : R153852 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Lol, very funny CORSAIR, really very funny company. The product i received was not what you told me in your mail : - nor a refund - nor "Corsair TWINX2048-4400PRO" (model that i told you about after your email) So, i put 3 discussion with the customer service : 1 (see original message below) --- Message from Tina telling me that the product i returned was obsolete. Choice that Tina offers to me : - refund or choosing another product. 2 --- My first mail with proofs (invoice, bank coordinates) telling that : - i choose a refund. 3 --- My second mail (6 hours laters - 09:29 AM Pacific Time) telling that : - i've founded a product compatible : "Corsair TWINX2048-4400PRO" 4 --- I send severals mails to have informations about what the customer service has decided. I have no response. 5 --- Then Ram Guy tells me that the package was sent. I ask him (after the customer service) which product was sent in this package --> no response for that. 6 --- Then, today, i receive the product .... "Corsair TWINX1024-440025PT" (i presume that they're used ones ..) : - this is not the one that i have asked for ... it was "Corsair TWINX2048-4400PRO". AND - this model is the model for which Customer Service (Tina) has told me that "..it was obsolete". That's why Cistomer Serice has offered me a refund !!! 7 --- So, i very angry with Corsair : - customer service offers me SOMETHING and do ANOTHER THING ... within even giving me informations !!!! Corsair = scornful ? probably ! Corsair = liars ? probably to ! and Corsair doesn't respond to questions ... and CORSAIR does WHAT HE WANT ... wihtout contacting his customer ... that's not necessary. CORSAIR is the king : he does what he wants, how he wants, when he wants .... PITIFUL !!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1 - From Customer Service (october 19, 2006 at 06:00 PM Pacific Time) (Tina) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Cedric, Unfortunately, the product that you returned under warranty is obsolete. We can issue you a refund, we would need the original invoice in order to issue one. If you would like to contact our technical support to see if there is another product that would be compatible. You could email RamGuy@corsairmemory.com Regards, ---------------------------------------------------------------- 2 - My first response (october 20, 2006 at 03:44 AM Pacific Time) ---------------------------------------------------------------- (With this response, i sent the original invoice and my bank coordinates) Hello Tina RMA number : R153852 Refund or new memory banks ----------- Then, i would prefer a refund, if the refund is equal to the orignal price (posture cost include ?) : so 250€ (~= 315$) and maybe the initial posture costs (23€ .. you have the receipt as a proof). So which currency do you use for refund : $ ou € ? I choose a refund as i prefer to buy new memory banks at a local reseller (to have a one year warranty) than having to return banks to Corsair USA in case of probem. Proofs ----------- Then, for supporting proofs --> no problem. With this mail, i post 3 attachments : - "Original invoice.gif" : i add several arrows to show you what's important (french invoice). - "Identity card.jpg" : copy of my national identity card (to prove it's me) - "Electricity supplier invoice.jpg" (recent one)... if necessary ... to prove my address. - "Bank coordinates.gif" Thanks to destroy "Identity card.jpg" and "Electricity supplier invoice.jpg" after use ... i don't want these documents to be stolen or fraudulently used. Thanks for your response. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 3 - My second response (october 20, 2006 at 09:29 AM Pacific Time) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hello again Tina (see my first message this night (day here)). So, i've checked the web to see what Corsair memory bank (PC4400) could be used with my motherboard. Then, i found that "Corsair TWINX2048-4400PRO" should be compatible with my mtoherboard : some ressellers sell them saying that they are compatible with the "DFI nF4 Ultra-D" motherboard. So, it coud be great. Then, i change my initial choice (a refund) : - if you can replace my initials banks by "Corsair TWINX2048-4400PRO" (with an invoice or official Corsair proof fo a new warranty) ... i'm OK for that. Being faithful to Corsair. :) OR - if you can't replace my banks with these ones, i then choice a refund (as said in my first message). Tell me more. You could email RamGuy@corsairmemory.com Regards, It was for fun ? or just a joke ? or a mistake ? I don't blame Corsair for replacing one part with another ... that's the warranty deal. It costs me 30$, it took one month ... but that was done. So, for this part, that's ok. But, i blame Corsair for : - not responding to questions. I sent severals email messages to Customer Service with no response... or sometimes ... typical responses ... that were not responding to asked questions. - saying something and doing another thing ... why Tina has offered me a refund if new RAM banks could be send ??? Do you believe i sent my bank coordinates just for fun ? - not listening to customer choice : i've said i would prefer a refund OR a 2048Mb ram kit ... and what did Tina --> not a refund, not a 2048 RAM kit --> but a new 1024 Kit when she has just told me that this RAM kit was obsolete and could'nt be replaced. Do you understand something ... you ? - sending a package without telling me what was sent. I have received the package without knowing what was its content ... Maybe you think it's normal ... not me. Disastrous communication ... That's why i don't want to deal with Corsair products anymore !
