JimiG
Hi and thanks to create this forum. I have the twin2x1024-5400c4 (675mhz 4-4-4-12) and i want to know if its possible to downclock the speed to work with my cpu (2.66 Ghz fsb 533) and timing 4-4-4-12 to 3-3-3-8. This downclock and timing will damage the memory? I know you will said why you don't buy the TWIN2X1024-4300C3. Why i buy this twin2x1024-5400c4 is for futur upgrade cpu! Thanks for answer! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 24, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 24, 2006 You can try it, but You may have to leave the timings set to Cas 4-4-4-12 at 2.1 Volts!

Wired
It's not tested at 3-3-3-8, so it may not work at those settings. You won't damage any hardware by trying it.
