zoidster
i'm back, having been thoroughly delighted with Corsair & RAM GUY a couple years ago, it's time to upgrade. which will my system operate best with: - simply adding 2 more 512's to match what i have - sell these 2 stix & get 2x1024 for 2 banks OR - put in 4x1024 and would you recommend the C2PT or LLPRO? i want the ultimate memmods for this board, so some trouble-free clocking info on the mods you suggest would be highly appreciated also... thank you, solid Corsair fan
CMC_SAVAGE
Your only option for 2GB of RAM would be to buy a TWIX2048 set. The RAM you have is not made any more.

Wired
3200LLs aren't made anymore, so there's nothing else compatible with them. replacing them would be your only option. 4x1024 is overkill
zoidster
i was wondering if there was an overkill point like that thanks so which type? C2PT or LLPRO ? can i put DDR2 on this mb? again, thank you for the info
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 28, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 28, 2006 You would need to get a new MB and CPU for DDR2, I would suggest replacing what you have now with Twinx2048-3200C2 for best performance.
