adrianma
I brought these only (at zipzoomfly.com) and one of the sticks is dead. I did a simple test by plugging one in one slot (which worked), then replacing the working stick with the second stick which turned out was not functioning. What are the steps to get this replaced (or fixed) and is it possible to mail just one stick in as I can't really afford to have downtime on my system. Thank you very much. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 9, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 9, 2006 Let's get them both replaced. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! And please note that you are from the forum! adrianma
is it possible to just mail the bad stick in? I have my RMA already. Thanks, Adrian
Wired
yes, HOWEVER, it's not recommended, as the new stick won't match the old stick, and that can cause instability, hence why they always recommend RMA'ing both at the same time.
