Corsair Dominator DDR2-1066 and Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 Compatibility

I just received my new Corsair Dominator TWIN2X2048-8500C5D sticks in the mail, but so far I have not been able to run these at the rated DDR2-1066 MHz speed and 5-5-5-15 timings and currently am running them at DDR2-800 and 4-4-4-12 timings. Are these sticks compatible with my motherboard at its rated speed? I was running my Corsair DDR2-800 sticks before at DDR2-1066 and decided to get a set of RAM that has its official rated speed at DDR2-1066. I've already run the Corsair Memory Configurator and it shows these sticks as compatible and that is why I ordered them.

I read the specs which show it capable of running DDR2-1066 MHz 5-5-5-15 timings at 2.2v. I use to own the TWIN2X2048-6400C4 which run the same above settings prefectly fine on my system. Please let me know what motherboards are capable of running the TWIN2X2048-8500C5D at the above timings and voltage. Do the regular TWIN2X2048-8500C5 work on my system with the above settings as well because I'm am actually considering getting rid of these Dominator sticks and just getting DDR2-800 RAM that will run at DDR2-1066 MHz at 2.2v again like I had before. Since I ran my old DDR2-800 sticks at DDR2-1066 anyways I wanted to get a set that was officially rated for DDR2-1066 MHz speed that actually works at that speed. Thanks for your help.
