Barleymo
I have a Asus A8V-E SE mobo which i currently have 3 gig of corsair memory in, cmx512-3200c2pro in slot 1 and 3 and corsair 1 gig xms in 2 and 4, everything is great. i have just purchased 2 more cmx512-3200c2pro modules and put these where the 1 gig modules were and the mobo only now boots in single channel memory mode even though all 4 slots have the same memory in. I can put anyone on the modules in, in pairs and it duel channel boots, but put 4 in and were back to single channel, the bios is the latest one, anyone any ideas???

ONE cmx512-3200c2pro, xms3202v4.1, 0624372.3 ONE cmx512-3200c2pro, xms3202v2.4, 0622184.5 Have tried different configs of them all and the cmx512-3200c2pro, xms3202v2.4, 0622184.5 seems to be the one letting the rest down...:(:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 3, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 3, 2006 I am sorry but with this MB and or platform you would need to have all of the modules that are exactly the same part# and revision. And we can only guarantee the modules one set at a time at the tested settings.
Barleymo
Thanks for your reply guys, seeing as the 1 gig sticks work with the 512's i might see if the shop will swap them for a matched pair of 512's and see if that works..
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 3, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 3, 2006 All of the modules you install would need to match both in part# and in revision or the system may not post or run properly!
