tenordawg Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I've got an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, with 1 gig (512x2) of TWINX1024-3200C2 memory, can I add another set (to make it 512x4) to this motherboard and have it recognize in Dual Channel still? Thanks for the help. I need more ram, but I don't want it to be "slower" if you catch my meaning. I'd rather not waste the 1 gig I already have in order to get 2 gigs of memory.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 29, 2006 Corsair Employee Posted September 29, 2006 You can but I would not suggest it as the modules would all need to be exactly matched and then the system may have to run at DDR333 with 4 modules. It would be best to find another use for these modules and get one Twinx2048-3200C2 set of modules for best performance.
