kadkison
It had been very reliable, but it looks like it suffers from a fatal design flaw. I noticed the plug was gradually becoming loose, and then it completely fell off. Hopefully this is covered under the 10 year warranty. This website http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/267 says it is not, but I imagine they're mistaken. Please let me know if I am covered. Wired
They smashed the USB drive between a chair and a computer. It's pretty reasonable that their situation isn't covered, and is different than what you mentioned. Yes, 10 years: http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/products/specs/PRODTEMPflashmemv5.pdf
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 2, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 2, 2006 I think the reviewer may be over expecting the term shock resistant. And in his case that would be physical damage not shock damage. If you have an accident with one of the new cars that has shock resistant fenders they will still have to be replaced from the accident. In your case kadkison let’s have you go ahead and submit for an RMA and let us inspect the drive. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part! Or *New* Tech Support Express” and we will be happy to replace them or it, please note that you are posting from the forum!
