f22b1 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I have a 2GB Flash Voyager. The first 900MB works perfectly fine. Whenever I write files (large or small size) over ~1GB boundary, it will give me an write protected error. I have to EZ-recover it, delete some files, and it works again. I tried to format it using EZRecover, but still can't get pass 1GB.... any suggestion? Tried on Asus Laptop, Dell Laptop, Dell Desktop and results are the same.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 27, 2006 Corsair Employee Posted September 27, 2006 Please format the Drive with Fat32 and then test it again. It’s best to open a Command Prompt and use this command: Format (X:) FS:Fat32 /U (X= the drive letter assigned)
f22b1 Posted September 28, 2006 Author Posted September 28, 2006 Tried formatting to FAT32 using Asus Laptop and Dell Desktop... still have "write protected" error message when filling up to around ~1gb. (using files with sizes around 100MB) what's next?
