Asus A8N-SLI Premium & TWINX2048-3500LL

I have an Asus A8N-SLI Premium with AMD X2 3800, 4 x 512 Mb ram (2 x VS1GBKIT400 kits). I would like to replace the ram with 2 x 1GB sticks.

 

Configurator search recommends TWINX2048-3500LLPRO but doesn't mention plain TWINX2048-3500LL. Are they the same product except for the LED's?

 

I am not currently overclocking but may in the future, so I would like to keep my options open. Is TWINX2048-3500LL my best choice. My other options seem to be TWINX2048-3200C2 or TWINX2048-3200C2PT - but all 3 are similar price.

Hi Quizzle, I just asked a similar question, If you plan on overclocking then the TWINX2048-3500LLPRO is your best choice, if not go for the TWINX2048-3200C2, I am also unsure the diffewrences between TWINX2048-3500LL and the TWINX2048-3500LLPRO, hope this helps - Adam

There is no difference in the memory just the cosmetic difference of the modules! Our Pro modules will have the activity LED's on them is the only difference aside from the advanced heat spreader to accommodate the LED's!
