would have I guarantee in this case?

I live in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil and gained an USB Flash Drive - CMFUSBSF2.0-512 (part number 609IABO) of gift of a friend who was recently in U.S.A.

 

I don´t have any voucher of the purchase.

 

Unhappyly, the equipment stopped to function in the second week of use.

 

In this case, have I right to some guarantee?

 

Since already I thank the attention of corsair to my problem.
