pvision
Hi, I have a system on order and at the last minute had to change my Motherboard to the P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe. I didn't change the RAM I had ordered (Twin2X2048-8500C5). I know the motherboard does not "support" this memory, but with some BIOS tweaking will I be able to get it to work? I would be happy at 800Mhz, if this memory can be "downsized" to run at 800... Please let me know if these sticks will work... Cheers
pvision
Anybody? Ideas? I just want to know if keeping this RAM is a good idea hoping the BIOS will be updated in the future....I just want the RAM to "work" in the system. RAM guy? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 20, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 20, 2006 Yes these modules will run in that MB, but I doubt they willl run at the tested settings. Please see the Performance Reports on these modules and other like modules to get an idea of the MB's and what we did to run them at the tested settings.
