pauldawson
I have 2 x XMS3200 modules. One of them is faulty. I have used Memtest to test both modules independently in every one of my 4 dimm slots. In every one of them, 1 dimm passes and the dimm which (I think) is faulty does not. Conclusive enough? Wired
what timings / voltage are you testing them at? what version of memtest are you using?
pauldawson
memtest v1.65 The voltage is the same as the other identicle dimm (3200C2TP) - 2.75v If I put the (perhaps faulty) dimm in alone or in combination with the other dimm, my PC does a cyclic reboot. The other dimm installed alone is fine.
