hartlch Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 I have a stick of CMX512-3200C2 that has gone bad. It had been running for several years w/o problems. I ran memtest86 on it and got numerous errors. Substituted an identical stick from another machine and got a clean report from memtest. Other numbers on stick are XMS3202v2.1 and 0304068 Thanks, Chuck
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 18, 2006 Corsair Employee Posted September 18, 2006 Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
hartlch Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 It is an ASUS P4PE/LAN-UAY and the CPU is an P4 2.4 GHz w/533Mhz FSB. I am not doing any overclocking. Memory is using SPD settings. Only BIOS setting changed was to raise mem voltage to 2.7V (only higher option is 2.9). BTW, after posting here I saw the beta do-it-yourself RMA request page and did that (Case # 204556 ).
