Spastik Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 I purchased a set of 1GB sticks from newegg. TWIN2X2048-6400C4 Turns out one of the sticks is bad. I have a RMA# but it says it is for ... Returning Qty: 1 Returning Part #: CM2X1024-6400C4 I thought you were supposed to return the matched set. If i send them both in will I get 2 new ones? Are they really "matched"? I want to send these out tommorrow from work but dont want to send them both if it will cause a problem. Thanks, Scott
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 15, 2006 Corsair Employee Posted September 15, 2006 You need to reply back to the email you got and ask them to change the part# to -Twin2x2048-6400C4 and send both modules so they match! If you request a RMA for a single module that is what you will get. And the modules would nto be matched.
