brian.derocher Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 We had a stick of memory go bad. We're running Linux (Debian sarge). We installed memtester and ran memtest. It produced a screen showing hundreds of errors for each test. Prior to that the machine was running just find for months. Also we didn't make any modifications to the machine recently. It was just running until Nagio, our network monitor, reported problems with our website. (Actually the website was displaying that our database had problems.) This is a production machine so we'd like it replaced as soon as possible.
