knucklebones
I have just ordered this memory module and now I'm wondering if it's compatible. Some sights state that the Intel motherboard supporst ram speed to 800, and others only 667. If it does, do I have to fiddle around with the bios to get it to work? Please advise! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 13, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 13, 2006 Those modules will be compatible, but you will need to manually configure the timings and Voltage.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 27, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 27, 2006 I am asking for the exact settings you change on your MB the MB we used was not the same as your and its not a direct cross, so some settings might need to be different and I donot have your MB to know what the settings are, so please list them. Or please call our Tech support when you are in front of your system 800-205-7657!
knucklebones
I understand that not all motherboards are the same, but you said to use the tested settings in your link. 4-4-4-12, 2.1v. I can't call tech support as I'm in the UK and that's an international number. I've attached cpu-z textif that's any help.cpuz.txt
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 28, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 28, 2006 I would try and set the memory Frequency at DDR2-667 and see if the system is stable. But can you tell me the modules revision and lot code? And your complete system configuration including the make and model of PSU?
knucklebones
system.txtI've included a system tsxt file. The PSU is your HX620. The ram info was in the previous text file. The system is totally stable on the auto setup at 800.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 2, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 2, 2006 You will have to get the information off of the lables of the modules, but if its stable at DDR2-800 with the Auto settings I would leave it there!
