Mixer
Hello All, I'm new to this forum and need some advice on hardware. I have an ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe mobo w/ Intel P4 Prescott@3.4ghz, 800FSB. I'm looking for the best memory match up for my mobo and considering using between 2gb to 4gb of memory in Windows XP PRO Corp. Edition. Also I'm considering OC the P4 to either 3.6ghz or 3.8ghz with the best air cooling on the market. Can this be done safely with air cooling? I read the P4C800-E Deluxe mobo/memory forum and now I'm somewhat concerned. :sigh!: My rig will be use for gaming and workstation functions. PS: Any tips on how to make Windows XP PRO see 4gb of memory? Thanks, Mixer

Wired
Games definitely won't use over 2 GB, CAD will. Moved thread to appropriate area.
Mixer
Could anyone assist me on what memory sticks would be best for my mobo? I'm looking to use either 2GB or 4GB on my system. Which Corsair memory would be most compatiable w/o any problems? Thanks, Mixer
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 13, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 13, 2006 I would suggest no more than 2.0 Gig of memory with this MB and you can use VS2GBKit400C3 for best Value or Twinx2048-3200C2 or for best performance Twinx2048-3500LL!
