xcarcraft
Except it boots, than blue screens after a while with 1 stick, no post at all with 2 blue slots occupied. I got 2 new packs of twinx 1024-4400(using only one pack). Now before we go around in circles I had twinx 1024-3700 in there over clocked 10% with a opteron 170 in the asus A8n32 SLi mobo, and yes I did set the bios to defults with the new ram! although it shouldn't really matter going up! oddly this ram boots with a p4, so I tryed it with a old asus mobo running a Athlon 2500+ and no post with even 1 stick just a long beeps!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 14, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 14, 2006 That is normal these modules do not have the information to run bellow DDR400 and with that MB and CPU you would need to run the memory at DDR333 if you set it to BY SPD the system will not post because there is no SPD information in those modules at DDR333.
