Bad Module

I have a CMX1024-3200C2PT dual channel set I bought a few months ago. It worked great for a while until as I was working one day I got a blue screen. Windows would not start up after this. I went through some OS software checks, and eventually tried switching out the ram with some old spare ram, which solved the problem and everything ran fine (albeit much slower). I recently tested the Corsair memory and found only one stick was bad and Windows would not start with this module installed, however it starts fine with the other stick. SHould I fill out an RMA request?
