jljensen
I recently purchased one VS1GB400C3 to upgrade the memory in my VIA P4PB Ultra system with a P4 2.4GHz Northwood F27 C1 processor. When I remove all the previous memory and install the new stick, the system will not boot. I checked the BIOS settings and adjusted them to the suggestions from the Corsair compatability area, except for tRAS. The settings I used were 3-3-3-7 at 133MHz. The tRAS control only allowed 6T and 7T. 8T was not listed. With these changes made, the system still does not boot. Any other thoughts? jljensen
Sorry about the long delay in replying. I missed the incoming email notification. My P4PB Ultra motherboard is at the current BIOS level, although it is old. VIA stopped making (and apparently supporting) this motherboard shortly after it was released. Any other suggestions?
