Dogface
I've seen a couple of posts regarding comaptibility issues with Intel D845PEBT2 motherboards and the XMS TwinX 2GB matched memory sticks (CMX1024-3200 x 2). However, I haven't seen a solution -is there one? I have the most recent BIOS, I've tried adjusting the settings in the BIOS, I've tried just putting them in one at a time. No luck on all fronts- the computer won't POST at all -just 3 long POST beeps. Any help? I'd really like to keep this memory if I can get help on how to make it work with my MB.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 30, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 30, 2006 I am sorry but you would need to use DDR333 or DDR266 memory with that MB. That is the solution!
Dogface
thanks - one suggestion.... change the Corsair Configurator tool to not match this motherboard with these sticks. I think a lot of us that aren't computer pros rely on these types of tools to help us select the best products.
stephenw13
I bought TWINX2048-3200C2PT based on the Corsair Configurator tool. Only to find out it does not work in this system. Is there anyway I can return these modules so that I can purchase the correct ones? thx
