battlex
Hi, I'm going to purchase a Tyan Transport GX28 (B2882) Barebones server and thus require some memory to go with it. I'm going to be installing 4GB of memory, preferably using 4x1GB modules. However I'm wanting to know whether these modules CM72SD1024RLP-3200 are compatable with the system, as on the configurator search it shows the 512mb equivalent as being compatable, but it does not list the CM72SD1024RLP-3200 modules. Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanks!

battlex
hi, many thanks for your reply. it seems that on the tyan website that the CM72SD1024RLP-3200 (mircon) is compatable with the system but it doesn't list the samsung IC's. However when looking at just the motherboard for the system (which is the same as in the barebones server) it shows that the samsung IC's are also compatable. So would it be safe to assume that the samsung IC's are also compatable? Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 23, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 23, 2006 Yes they should be, probably we just did not send them that part based on Samsung IC's.
