blinkonon Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 I've just built an new computer with the following: ASUS P5W DH Deluxe motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 CPU Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400PRO Thermaltake Toughpower 600W power supply Lian Li PC60 case I won't bore you with the rest since I can't get past the memory installation. With everything removed and only the power switch and speaker wires connected (no RAM) I receive a beep error when I power on. As soon as I install a memory module (either one) and power on I receiver no further beep codes and nothing happens. All fans work when connected and the motherboard LED is on steady (as it should be). What do all the pretty lights on the RAM modules mean and can anyone help me? Please!:sigh!: *** Turned out to be an issue with the BIOS.
