msbenn67
As you cansee from the title of this post, I have 3200XLPRO (Twinx 1024) and MSI K8N NEO2 Platium. Recently, I've experienced complete system shutdowns and believe it is due to the memory. My current bios settings are: Bios Version 1.c Mem Voltage: 2.8 Mem Freq.:400 TCL:2 TRAS:5 TRCD:3 TRD:2 1T I've read the numerous posts regading the "twesks" necessary to make this configuration work. I've tried various timing settings but I still get the shutdowns. I've ran MemTest and it locks up after 2-3 cycles. Could I have a defective mem chip? Any other suggestions? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 22, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 22, 2006 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and if you can I would suggest testing them in another system.
