Twin2048 PC3200 Asus A8R-MVP

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I have some questions for you experts in RAM :D...

Here is the system i've set up recently:

AMD 3800+

Asus A8R-MVP

PSU Thermaltake 420W

Twin2048 PC3200 (200Mhz, 3.0-3-3-8 (no idea what this means!) voltage:SSTL 2.5)

I experience random BSOD with same error everytime: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

STOP 0x000050

As i understand, it seems to be an RAM issue...(maybe an agressive timing...)

Is there any known issues between Twin2048 PC3200 et AsusA8R-MVP?

What does 3.0-3-3-8 stands for? do i have to change that?

is there anything i can try to stop having BSOD?

Thanks in advance :D

Your PSU is not enough for that Video Card you have listed. And you can follow the link in my signature for the tested settings and I would set the memory voltage to 27 Volts. I have this MB running these modules at my home so they are compatible.
