beavis88
I tracked the package I sent via DHL to the Corsair RMA dept, and the carrier stated it had been "Returned to shipper". The address on the package was correct, and the RMA number was printed on both the package and the address label - why would this happen?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 17, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 17, 2006 I am not sure, please call our customer service at 888-222-4346 and I am sure they will find out for you.
beavis88
According to Corsair customer service, the package was never received. According to DHL, the package was opened by Corsair reception, then refused. Note that this is in direct violation of DHL's policies. Also interesting that when I got the package returned to me, the memory was GONE. So, sounds to me like the DHL driver on the Fremont, CA route is a thief :( Edit: FWIW, my only recourse is to file a claim with DHL. I would strongly recommend that any other customers of yours avoid DHL like the plague. I have been talking with my local pack and ship place, and they have seen many complaints from DHL customers recently about driver actions. On the bright side, assuming I ever get any money from DHL, I can buy some memory that hopefully won't need to be RMA'd again...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 21, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 21, 2006 I am sorry to hear about the problems you had, but if we have refused the package we would have listed in the record. I would file a complaint with tDHL directly as well.
