Hi guys,

I have a twin x set of CMX512-4400C25PT x 2

the other day what i thought was a Hard drive crash has ended up being a memory problem.

Just wanted to make sure

Getting an error on Test 7 only on 1 stick - everything is run @ default and SPD timmings

Cmos has been reset and different Mem slots used

Motherboard - Abit KN8 Sli

CPU = x2 3800

Cheers

Tried these setting first on working ram for base line and then on dodgy stick

still getting errors on Test 7 -

I tried loosening also the timmings 2.2.2.6 - 2-5.3.3.7

made no difference

Also set command rate to 1T then to 2T

Also no difference ( 4 Passes each time on each change errored on every pass)

Cheers Smoken

Good news though My trusty old stick of XMS 3000 will do 2.2.2.6 with no errors
