Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) and Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)

Hello to all , new to the forum and i need a little help with this please ?

I have for the firat time just built a new rigg .

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-128-IN)

Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-150-AS)

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) (MY-108-CS)

Thermaltake VC3000SWA Armour Jr SuperMidi Tower - Silver (CA-038-TT

With a 7900GTX to play it on

All is working very well except someone told me to run CPU-Z

My findings are as follows

Frequency 333.3 MHZ

FSB DRAM 4:5

CAS LATENCY 5.0 CLOCKS

RAS TO CAS DELAY 5 CLOCKS

RAS PERCENTAGE 5 CLOCKS

CAYCLE TIME (TraS ) 15 CLOCKS

Why is the Corsair Ram running at 333.3MHZ ??????? Surey this is a matched pair of 400MHZ ?

My guess is its the Asus P5B or could the RAM be faulty ??

Free beer for all helpful answers !!!!!!!

First thing, please take a look in section 4 of the user manual then use http://www.memtest.org to test any settings you make or change. And before you make nay changes you need to know how to reset the bios and get back to default settings.

Then look for the CPU frequency setting under frequency and Voltage control with ASUS AKA Jumper free configuration. Or leave the memory frequency set as it is and over clock your CPU.
