Wolfgang Wahl
Hello and sorry for coming up with the same question again: My system: Mainboard: ASUS P5N32SLI-Deluxe CPU: Intel D965EE Ram: OZC PC-5400/667Mhz 2x1GB Graphic: ASUS EN7800GT Dual PSU: Silverstone 600W Cooling: EXOS Koolance AL Bios: 0403 Chipset Driver: 6.86 Graphic Driver: 91.31 Ok, when I take out the OZC PC-5400/667Mhz and put in the CORSAIR PC-6400/800Mhz then start the computer, no post, no bios on "delete", no boot. So, please... any body there for help? And... don't tell me anything about setting, because I can't set nothing without enter in bios. Wired
Take out the other memory, reset the BIOS via the onboard jumper, then plop in 1 stick of the CM2X and boot, see what happens.

Wolfgang Wahl
I did exactly what recommended; I took out the other brand PC-5400/667 ram, took out the battery the set the jumper to clear for 30 seconds, plug in the jumper back to standart, put in one stick Corsair PC-6400/800, start computer > nothing... took out the stick and replace with the second, start computer > nothing, no post, no bios on "delete", no boot. Took out the Corsair and put in the other brand PC-5400/667, computer starts normaly. My god, I'm getting grey hairs! Please, any other solution? Wolfgang Wahl
Ok, thank you RAM GUY. That's what I will do now, I go to the local dealer here in Switzerland where I bought the ram and replace them through others. Just for you to know, here are the serials from the sticks: XMS6405v2.3 / 100217982 XMS6405v2.3 / 100217983 I saw in the compatibility-list that there are diffrerent PC-6400 Typs, CL4 and CL5, then there are also the PC-8500/1000 witch should work with the nvidia nForce SLI x16 chipset. Do you have any special recommendation, witch one is better, the price doesn't matter. Wolfgang
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 8, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 8, 2006 There should not be able problem with these modules and that MB, I would just get them replaced. But this MB will only support DDR2-667 Memory with an 800 FSB CPU and DDR2-533MHz memory with a 533FSB CPU.
Wolfgang Wahl
Oh... now I'm confused, because many people in ASUS-Forum with P5N32 SLI-Deluxe says their PC-6400 runs @ 800Mhz, with 0403 bios, but anyway I'll do like you say, just replace them. Thanx RAM GUY, good support at all. Wolfgang
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 8, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 8, 2006 You should get the latest bios if you dont have it now!
Wolfgang Wahl
RAM GUY, I allreday have the latest bios 0403, there is no newer at moment. There should not be able problem with these modules and that MB, I would just get them replaced. But this MB will only support DDR2-667 Memory with an 800 FSB CPU and DDR2-533MHz memory with a 533FSB CPU. My D965EE CPU has 1066FSB, would this change any thing?
