LesT
Has anyone had an instance where using a flash Voyager has affected broadband internet connection? Every time I backup files on a 4GB Voyager, while online, I can no longer access web pages and bittorrent client stops downloading. I need to reboot after removing Flash drive to restore internet speed. Any suggestions? It's very frustrating! I'm using a 5 MB/s internet connection with an HP laptop with 1.8Ghz processor and 1GB ram.

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 7, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 7, 2006 What is the make and model of the MB and or system and the PSU you have?
LesT
Laptop is HP Pavillion dv5157eu. Where would I find details of MB? Concerning the PSU, it uses a 6 cell lithium ion battery at 43W/hr. Cant find any info online concerning the external PSU, but on back of external HP PSU it states that output is 65W. Processor is AMD Turion64 running XP Home 32 bit ( I hope this is the info your asking for!).
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 8, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 8, 2006 Chances are the LAN and USB share the same power source and the system cannot provide enough power. I would suggest running your USB Devices thru an external USB Hub that has its own power source..
