Firball
Hi, Here are my specs just so you can know to check compatiblity- Mobo- Asus M2N32 SLI-Delux CPU- AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ Dual Core Video Card- MSI 7900GTX Power Supply- Silverstone 600 Watt Memory- Corsair XMS 6400C4PRO* (2X1GB) Lately i have been getting crashing issues, i thought perhaps it was my video card (i had a 7900GT) so i replaced it with a 7900GTX, The artifacting has stopped since i replaced the card, yet still my games will crash and sometimes i will just crash idleing on my desktop. Everytime i crash either my computer will restart or 99% of the time a blue screen will come up and say there has been a Kernel Error, and say some stuff about memory. I own (2x1GB) 6400C4PRO* Memory, i did a mem test and on 68% i got 3 errors with differnt numbers that of course i dont understand. I have my BIOS timing set to 4-4-4-12 2T, with 2.1voltage, running 800mhz. Is this the correct setting that i should be running? Thanks and any other suggestions will be helpful. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 7, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 7, 2006 Should not be a problem with those settings. have you tested the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org?
Firball
Yes and they got to 25% and 68% and had errors.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 8, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 8, 2006 With that MB you have to disable legacy USB and set the CPU Freq manually when running any memory Test!
Firball
I noticed on your main site, under technical, memory help. That it says that the 6400C4 Pro isnt compatiable with my Asus M2N32 Sli-Deluxe is this correct?

Firball
I set my voltage to 2.0 and its now stable, it wasnt stable at 2.1 so i think you guys might want to say on your site somewhere that 2.0 also works.
Wired
No need. They're rated UP TO 2.1, so that implies 2.0. Also, depending on the mobo and PSU, the readings may be off, so your 2.0 may really be 1.9, or 2.1. Voltmeter is the only 100% way to tell.
