Jakeman
I was submitting a RMA request, but it says I need a ticket #. I think this is where I get a ticket #. One of my sticks causes my system not to boot when in slot 1. I have isolated the problem to this one stick. My other 4 sticks work fine in slot 1. This is conclusive. As for my other symptoms... my system has a rare and recurring blue screen problem reporting a large variety of error codes. It blue screened today and wouldn't boot. That is when I started testing my RAM in singles. Oddly enough, Windows Memory Test and Memtest never reported any errors, and the bad stick works fine when it is not in slot 1 and paired with other sticks, but I was able to positively identify a problem by testing individual sticks by themselves.
