burnout Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 I am currently building my rig and my motherboard is an Asus P5W DH deluxe. My processor is Pentium D 930. I am choosing which memory to buy and I have some interest on the TWIN2X1024-6400C4. First question is if its compatible with my motherboard? If its compatible, would you recommend this model for my motherboard? I have read reviews and seen in the corsair website about the TWIN2X2048-6400C4 . Is this just the same as the TWIN2X1024-6400C4 with the difference only being 2gig and the latter 1gig in memory size? does this mean its performance characteristics are just the same..(except of course with its size)? I only have budget for the 1 gig size that is why im opting for it if its just the same quality as its 2gig version.. Need your help because im about to buy this..
