Srose
My Setup: AMD Athlon64 3500+ Asus M2N-SLI deluxe TWIN2X1024A-6400 Geforce 7300GT Now the problem the computer won't even POST it turns off after 4 seconds or so. One time I was able to enter BIOS and cheked the CPU temperature, 40-43 degrees,no problem.. But since that i haven't been able to enter BIOS so i can't change anything.. So i think that something is defect or can a compatible problem cause this? Thanks!!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 1, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 1, 2006 Please get the latest bios and then load setup/optimized defaults and then set memory Frequency to 667 Mhz and set the Dim Voltage to 2.1 volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and leave the timings set to "BY SPD" and then test the module/'s one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
