sigma682
I got a 2048-3200c2 Kit that had 600+ errors during memtest and shutdown some 30mins into the test. I actually bought another kit thinking that it was a isolated case and a new modules would be fine, and if they worked I could rma the others. I got another kit (they sent me the platinum instead for some reason) and that ended up with 700+ errors and I get the blue screen and a restart when I trying logging on to windows so now I have to rma 2 kits...I guess I will RMA one to corsair because it is outside of the 30 return policy of the retailer, and the other will go back to the retailer. what do i do without any modules!? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 18, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 18, 2006 That would suggest some other problem as all of our modules are tested on a MB at theur rated speed before they leave the factory. Please make sure that you set the CPU Freq manually and that you disable legacy USB when running http://www.memtest.org with this MB.
sigma682
Ok so I manually entered the cpu settings and I turned off the usb legacy setting and Memtest86 shows zero errors one time through. The only problem I still have is that I get a blue screen after logging in to windows saying something ddr irqL not equal.....if i recall correctly...luckyily i have been able to switch between the two Kits and be able to get my computer running one way or another. I would like to resolve this blue screen of death issue though. Any advice is much appreciated!!!
