the rest of the drivers are WinXP Pro Default Drivers

So far the Systems boots nice, but from time to time the system shut down.

The Power LED is glowing but nothing is working in the Case. No fans, no hdd, no nothing... I have to push the power button for some seconds and then i can reboot.

After this things happens i read some Topics here in the Forum.

I decided to load memtest, everest and Prime95...

I start Everest to have a look at the temp and then i start Prime95.

I let it run for about 1 hour. All right so far.

After Prime95 i started the Game Benchmark 3D Mark 03 from Futuremark.

During this bench it happens again! The System shut down...

So i reboot and take 3 more trys. Everyone with the same result.

After some Minutes the System shut down.

So i create an memtest boot-disk...

And made some Test Runs:

Agenda:

Mod1 - First TWINX Module

Mod2 - Second TWINX Module

Bank1 - First RAM Bank

Bank2 - Second RAM Bank

Bank3 - Third RAM Bank

First Run:

Bank1 - Mod1

Bank2 - empty

Bank3 - Mod2

After round 1 hour the first errors indicated.

Second Run:

Bank1 - Mod1

Bank2 - empty

Bank3 - empty

After 4 Hours no erros.

Third Run:

Bank1 - Mod2

Bank2 - empty

Bank3 - empty

After round about 1 Hour, no erros...

Fourth Run:

Bank1 - empty

Bank2 - empty

Bank3 - Mod1

After some hours no erros...

Fifth Run:

Bank1 - empty

Bank2 - empty

Bank3 - Mod2

After a half hour the first erros...

The Error was at every run the same:

TST | Pass | Failing Adress | Good | Bad | Err-Bits | Count Chan

8 | 0 | 000063d0464 - 99.0 MB | 00000000 | 000000ff | 000000ff | 1

8 | 0 | 000063d0505 - 99.0 MB | 00000000 | 000000ff | 000000ff | 1

This results jar me a little bit...

Why does the Second Module make problems on Bank3 but not on Bank1?

The First Module looks fine at all.

So the question:

What can i do more to fix the Problem? Is it maybe a defect of the second Module? Something i can test round about the board?

Please help me!

First thing the module should be in slots 2-3 and I would set the memory Voltage to 2.7 Volts and test them again after you load setup defaults and set the voltage and timings. If you still have problems change the CPU FSB jumper to pins 1-2 furthest away from the CPU and try it again.

The MemVoltage is set to 2.7 Volts at all Test-Runs!

The CPU FSB jumper was also set to pin 1-2 at all Test-Runs!

A Test-Run at slot 2-3 produced the same errors!

Today i´ve tested a pair of HyperX DIMMS from King*ston (a friend give them me). These modules runs fine for more than 3 hours trough memtest and 3dmark03..

At the moment my System take a run with another pair of TWINX1024-3200C2PRO from a another friend.

First i made a run with 3dmark03 and it looks fine at all.

At the moment memtest is running.

I should report you in some hours the results.

Okay here the results from the test with another pair of TWINX1024-3200C2PRO...

After 1 hour first errors...

and again at test no.8!

All errors memtest show, was from this test, also the tests in the past are always shown errors at test no.8!

Anyone an idea??
