benlonguk
Hi, I've just built a new PC with the above configuration and have started to encounter BSODs in XP. I've ran memtest with a number of BIOS configurations and every time it is finding errors on tests 3, 5, 6 and 7. In terms of BIOS configuration I have used everything on Auto, then specified each thing according to the spec of the RAM, trying slightly different combinations including disabling USB legacy support etc. Does anyone think this is a configuration problem or just a bad batch of RAM? Thanks in advance Ben.
Yellowbeard
Try raising your memory voltage to 2.1v. Also, if you run Memtest again and IF your MOBO has Legacy USB Support, you need to disable Legacy USB Support while running Memtest. There is a conflict with that test and it must be disabled to run. Mike.
