Reebbo
I would like to RMA a stick of RAM I purchased. Memtest reads the ram as having thousands of errors. This stick is part of a set of 2 I bought and I would like to keep the stick that is ok so that my computer may remain functional wile I am awaiting the new replacement stick. Wired
What CPU / FSB / Motherboard do you have? What is the exact part # and revision # of each stick? Is it a TwinX pack? How To Read the Memory Label If you have more than one stick, have you tested one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+ and not (Memtest86)? Click here to find out how you can add your system specs to your profile and posts! Also, if your RMA is approved, and you do have a TwinX pack, it's recommended you RMA both (quantity 1, part # TwinX blah blah blah) so that you get a matching pair in return. If you only RMA one, there's no way for Corsair to guarantee that it'll work w/ your other stick.
Reebbo
CPU= Athlon64 x2 3200+ Mobo= ASUS SLI Delux A8N (yes it is TwinX) Part#= CMX1024-3200 Version#= v5.1 Lot#=0611003-0 yes I did run memtest on both sticks seperatley and only one is turning up errors. and I understand about the RMAing of the set ... kinda figured that. Just hate losing the computer for a few weeks waiting on the new stuff :D: will be happy to RMA both if it makes it easier.
