TWINX2048-3200C2 - Bad Module

Recommended Posts

I just purchased a set of TWINX2048-3200C2 Modules for my computer.

My Setup:

DFI nf SLI-DR Lanparty Motherboard (DDR - 4 slots)

Athlon 64 4000+ Processor

XFX Geforce 7800 GTX Factory OC 256mb DDR ram

TWINX 2048-3200C2 (2x1gig)

When I placed both sticks in, the computer would do beeps in series such as a beep for a second with a few seconds in between then another beep. It would not start up the computer screen at all until I turned the computer off. Also, I tried it with the first stick in DDR slot 1 and took the second stick out of DDR slot 2. The computer recognized the stick and booted up accordingly. However, I did the same thing with the second stick and the computer would just beep and not boot up the computer. I think I have a bad stick of DDR ram and need an RMA for it.
