thepfy
Does anyone know what screws are used to keep the fan in place on the Nautilus 500? I'd like to try swapping the fan for a Yate Loon or a SilenX (got spares of both) but I haven't found a screwdriver which fits the fan screws. They look like a Torx to me but the holes / pattern is incredibly small.
DavARei
I don't think they used screws. You can pull the top off (there is a screw in each foot under the pad). It appears that the fan is attached with perma-clips. You could add your own fan ... but you might have to drill.

thepfy
I can take the top cover off - that's easy. It's remove the existing fan which is problematic.
KaptCrunch
looks like they're rivets from pic's so no screw drive will fit, need to get a dremel an grind off the heads(not to long for the heat may melt casing) an replace with #6-32 1" 3/4 long screws an nuts, check that extra lenght don't touch anything pass the nut.
