g303main Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 Hi, I purchased a 2GB Voyager exactly 6 months ago. It has worked perfectly until the other day when it told me that there was a 'write-protect' error. It has worked irregularly since then. Sometimes it allows me to copy items onto the drive. It has allowed me to format it (using Windows XP right-click format) (but then it comes up with a write protect error again). However, EZRecover consistently says that format has failed. The device is working, but unreliably. I don't think I can rely on it if it is going to require formatting every other day and not reliably receive files.
