RGRz
My second time posting here, I'd like to thank the moderator who responded to my other post. Here's my question: With this ram: Twinx2048-3200C2PT And this board: A8R32-MVP Deluxe would I be scott-free of any compatibility issues? I don't know if there's that much of a difference between the ram above and the other set's I've searched for. Some sets have black shielding, some have silver, some say twin-x ect ect. What do you think?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 8, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 8, 2006 Those modules would be great choice for that MB, just load setup defaults and then set the memory voltage to 2.7 Volts and the set the tested settings. RGRz
I'm not sure what to set the timings to as I'm not very experienced in changing the numbers around. I understand these sticks are supposed to run in 2-3-3-6 however they're at 3-3-3-8 default :sigh!: , heard of some people being unable to get the 2-3-3-6 timings too, so I'm a little concerned. How do I change this to the preferred 2-3-3-6 timings?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 14, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 14, 2006 Please check the user manual for your MB, they will normally explain how to make changes to your Bios setup, and these modules would require that you manually configure the timings! RGRz
Well I read the manual and hopefully I did this right. http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/4631/untitled8yn.jpg I only have the voltage at 2.7 I believe, is that too little?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 14, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 14, 2006 Yes or 2.8 Volts if you have problems!
