tucmox Posted June 2, 2006 Share Posted June 2, 2006 can i combine 2 XMS 1gb 400/3200 sticks with 2 Value select 512mb-400/3200 sticks in my Asus A8N SLI Deluxe Mobo? I know there are 4 slots and I put the 2gig sticks in A-1 and B-1.........can I put the 512 sticks in the other two open slots to get 3 gigs? Is it worth trying? What needs to match up? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 2, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 2, 2006 You should not mix memory with any platform, and I would not suggest mixing 256/512 Meg and 1.0 Gig modules on any MB.
