Rexor
Ram Guy, I have 2 modules (2 x VS512MB400), I have memtested (MemTest86+ v1.55) both of them and get no errors when testing them seperately, but get errors (only in test #5) when testing them together. The errors seem to be limited to a single module, when I switch slots the errors are either below the 512MB mark or above depending on the ordering of the memory modules. My system is made up of the following: Motherboard: MSI PM8M3-V motherboard Processor: Celeron D 351 3.2Ghz Case: Athenatech - A3603BB.400 BLK (Generic 400W PS) Video: Integrated Sound: Integrated Hard drive: IBM Deskstar 60BG Optical Drive: Lite-On DVD/+-RW Drive Floppy: none Please advise. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 1, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 1, 2006 With the CPU you have you may need to run the memory at DDR333 and I would set the memory Voltage to 2.75 Volts as well.
Rexor
Unfortunately my MB does not let me adjust memory voltage levels (even though the manual says it does). I switched it out with another pair of VS512MB400 in my other computer and the MemTest86+ reported no errors. I did the MemTest86+ on the other computer with the ram I thought was bad and it reported no errors. Should I leave it like it is and be happy or should I be concerned? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 1, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 1, 2006 If both systems are stable I would leave it like it is! Unless thre is some other concern.
