wcwtony
I have built my new computer 3 weeks ago but i have used the ram for 3 months. -It always reboots automatically. -Today, I even can't stant my computer(the fan is on). -I heard 3 "bit" sound after I turned on the power button. -My friend asked me to test the ram individually. When i removeed 1 pair, it can start. -So i tested the other pair individually, one worked fine while one can't with 3 "bit" sound when i turned on the power. -I checked my BIOS setting, the speed is 667mhz and SPD 5.0-5-5-15(i can't change the them) Now I start my PC with 1G ram only I ordered it on 2/21/2006 from http://www.newegg.com Do you know the problem? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 30, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 30, 2006 First thing, the PSU you have may not be big enough for the configuration you gave. And if the modules all work one up but not when all are installed that would suggest some other issue.
wcwtony
Maybe I expained it very bad so I explain it again. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 1, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 1, 2006 1: after i send the RMA form, what should i do ?can i send the ram to Corsair now? A: This is Explained in the Warranty Policy, But you will get an email back with the RMA number and directions where to send the modules. DO NOT send them with out the RMA number or the package will not be accepted. 2: I bought the ram in pair so I send both of them(i still have the "pair box") or I just send the ram with problem? A: If you purchased a Twinx set of modules you should submit them as a one Twinx set and send both modules!
