Single TwinX Stick is bad

Recommended Posts

I have a TWINX2048-3200C2.

Yesturday I sat at my computer to find that windows had blue screened sometime during the night. When I tried to reboot, it failed to post, giving me a bad system memory message. I reseated both sticks a few times, and it finally posted, so I immediately ran memTest86 and found I had bad ram (100s of thousands of errors).

I pulled one stick out, re-ran memTest, and all was clear. I swapped that stick with the one I pulled out, and my system failed to post again. Swapped the sticks again, and all is well.

I'm pretty sure I need a new stick. Will I have to rma both, or can just one be replaced?

Thanks,
