Cavalier
Hi, I have 2 "Corsair 1GB DDR333 Value Select Modules" that I purchased for my laptop. (Part Number: VS1GSDS333). After about 2 months of use one of the modules has gone bad. This was only discovered after sending the laptop back to HP for repairs thinking that there was a problem with the mainboard. The laptop functions perfectly with the Manufacturer Memory and the techs coul find nothing wrong either. However, when I recieved the laptop back from HP and switched the memory back for my Corsair modules, the problem started again. After some testing I found out which module is causing the system to halt and now my system is running on the other 1GB Value Select that I purchased. What steps do I need to take to have this module replaced?
