Nautilus 500 - on a dual CPU socket system ?

I have a dual Opteron system, with two dual core Opteron CPUs.

 

Is it possible to buy another CPU block and have the unit cool both CPUs, or is the unit not up to this ?

The Nautilus 500 should be able to cool two CPU's in a parallel liquid cooling loop configuration. :sunglasse

 

You will need two 3/8" Y-fittings and a little more tubing as well. :biggrin:

if use Y's make sure you do a test of flow, for every WB's has its own flow, to regulate use a shut-off valve on the faster flowing wb (wire tie, clamp) this same question is answerd in forums here do a search

I'd install a radiator in the middle and run N500 - CPU 1 - Rad - CPU 2 - N500

Otherwise, the water flows may differ and that ain't good.

specially if one goes between slim and nil.
