decipherlinda
I want to add the most RAM possible to my Velocity notebook but I don't know what the maximum RAM is for my machine. How can I determine what the maximum is for this computer? Currently I have three slots with one 512 MB Corsair PC2100 DDR SODIMM. Thanks!

To be honest, your notebook may not support SODIMM's larger than 512MB in size. If that's the case, your maximum supported memory would be 1.5GB. And any PC2700 (DDR333) or PC3200 (DDR400) memory that you put in your notebook will run at only PC2100 (DDR266) speed due to the limitations of the i845E chipset.
